This Privacy Policy explains how Ten99 Benefits, a service of 1099 Solutions LLC ("Ten99 Benefits," "we," "us"), collects, uses and shares information when you visit ten99benefits.com (the "Site") or contact us.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use the Check Your Rates form or the contact form, we collect:

  • Your first and last name, email address and phone number
  • Your ZIP code
  • The kind of work you do, the program you're interested in, and who needs benefits (for example, just you or your family)
  • Any question or message you send us
  • Whether you agreed to be contacted, and the wording you agreed to

Information collected automatically. We record which page of the Site you submitted a form from and, if you arrived through one of our campaigns, the campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source). Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the Site.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, medical or health information through the Site.

How we use your information

  • To help you check rates and continue to enrollment with our enrollment partner, Caravan
  • To answer your questions and follow up about GigCare and MaxGuard
  • To contact you by phone or text, only if you agreed to that on our form
  • To understand which pages and campaigns bring people to the Site, and to improve it
  • To protect the Site, prevent fraud and comply with the law

How we share your information

  • Caravan, our enrollment partner. When you continue from our Check Your Rates form, we pass your ZIP code, the program you chose, who needs benefits and the kind of work you do to Caravan so you don't have to enter them again, along with a reference number (and, if you came to the Site through a Marketing Partner's link, that partner's code) so we can tell whether you enrolled. Caravan's own privacy policy applies to the information you give Caravan directly.
  • Marketing Partners. Some visitors reach the Site through a link from one of our Marketing Partners (for example, an association, brokerage or business that refers its members or clients to us). If you did, we record that the partner referred you, and we may tell the partner how many of their referrals enrolled so we can pay them. We do not give partners your contact details or the details of your coverage.
  • Service providers who host and operate the Site for us, such as Cloudflare, under obligations to protect your information.
  • Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users, the public or us.
  • Business transfers, if 1099 Solutions LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Cookies and similar technologies

The Site does not use advertising cookies. If you arrive through a Marketing Partner's link, we set one first-party cookie (t99_ref) that holds only that partner's code and the date of your visit, so the partner gets credit if you contact us within 90 days. It expires after 90 days, and you can delete it in your browser settings at any time. The Site also uses your browser's session storage to remember your form answers and campaign tags during your visit; this information is cleared when you close the tab. Cloudflare may set cookies needed for security and to keep the Site running.

Your choices

  • Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email us.
  • Texts: reply STOP to any text message.
  • Calls: ask to be added to our do-not-call list on any call, or email us.
  • Access, correction and deletion: email us at hello@ten99benefits.com to ask what information we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law; we will respond to requests as required by applicable law.

How long we keep information

We keep your information for as long as we need it to help you with enrollment and follow-up, to keep records of your contact preferences, and to meet our legal obligations, and then delete it.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections and restricted, sign-in-only access to stored leads. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the "Last updated" date above when we do.
